Bibei Yao Fastness lies in Bibei Town in Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, 56 kilometers from Shaoguan city. It is the point of origin for the overseas Yao nationality. It is surrounded with mountains, and the architecture is distinctive of the region. Here you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while getting a taste of the old and peculiar customs of the Yao people.
